Still breathing at the end of fall semester...barely

alright, well I won't sugar coat it, this semester has been by far the hardest one yet. Maybe it was the fact that I took two studios on top of four other classes, but hey...you live you learn. There were many times when I felt like getting in my car, driving away, and never coming back. But after six all-nighters, 25+ empty cans of sugarfree redbull, eating my own weight in fun size twix bars and sour patch watermelon, I have a new found appreciation for web designers. Maybe it was having to re-build each of my sites no less than four times, but ya know what? Not everyone's cut out for it and that's fine. I look forward to honing the skill, but will stick to print in the future. I was happy with my projects, even though they didn't work on actual critique days most of the time but I think they'll be things that I can use for portfolio. And I'm excited because in my Brand Identity class I was able to start the branding process for my line of rashguards and swim wear that I'm hoping will launch next summer. It's my birthday Friday (yep, I'm 21 now.) and I'm lookin forward to some much needed R&R this break riding the white winter wave.
I thought this was appropriate for finals:
You know you're studying too much when:
1. You find yourself highlighting portions of a restaurant menu.
2 You enter your computer password on the microwave.
3. Your letters or e-mails contain bullet points and outlines.
4. When you talk in your sleep, you recite the names of all 400 misc. paintings you had to memorize for Art History.
5. The Merril-Cazier Library just named a study room after you.
6. You've spent enough money on prints at kinkos and foam core you could feed a child in Ethiopia.
